Frequently Asked Questions

(Q) What aspects of a company do you audit?

(A) We leave no stone unturned. We audit servers, firewalls, routers, switches, printers, workstations, wireless access points, people (regardless of position), websites, suppliers (they may be susceptible to handing out your details), intranets, VOIP, etc.

(Q) Are your staff professionally certified?

(A) 100% Our staff must be industry certified on many levels, you are welcome to ask your auditor for proof of certifications at any stage. We are not 'script kiddies' we are professional penetration testers who are trained to look for potential security flaws. Running point-and-click security scanning applications and tools does not cut it for us.

(Q) How much does it cost?

(A) Cost will vary according to what services you require and the length of the audit. Contact us to arrange a quote.

(Q) Will day to day operation of the business be effected?

(A) Absolutely not. The nature of the audit requires your company to run as per usual to assess common vulnerabilities, otherwise we are available to work at any time of the day to ensure your business continuity.

(Q) By having an audit, does this mean my company is secure from attacks?

(A) Think of our service like an Occupational Health & Safety audit. You can never be 100% certain your workplace is safe. What we will do is take every possible measure to ensure the risk of attack is at an absolute minimum.

(Q) Do I have to sign a contract?

(A) Yes. Before we can commence the audit you must sign a Deed of Release. In essence, the contract stipulates that you consent to the audit. You are given a copy of the contract at the initial meeting to review in your own time. This contract also protects you, it outlines our responsibility to you as a client.
